Day 1: Friday: Istanbul
Arrival in Istanbul, transfer to your selected hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Saturday: Istanbul
Full day Istanbul sightseeing tour with lunch visiting the Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, Saint Sophia museum or St. Savior and the Grand Bazaar.
Day 3: Sunday: Istanbul / Ankara / Cappadocia
Transfer in the morning to the airport for the flight to Ankara. Arrival, transfer to Ankara city to visit the Museum of the Anatolian Civilizations and the Mausoleum of Kemal Ataturk. After lunch continue to Cappadocia. Dinner & overnight.
Day 4: Monday: Cappadocia
Cappadocia full day tour, including a visit to the Uchisar Citadel and the underground Kaymakli town. After lunch visit the Goreme Valley and the open-air museum. The tour ends at Pasabag Valley and Avanos. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Tuesday: Cappadocia / Kayseri / Istanbul
Departure from the hotel, to Kayseri airport for your flight back to Istanbul. Arrival and transfer to your selected hotel.
Day 6: Wednesday: Istanbul / Athens
After breakfast, transfer to the airport of Istanbul to your flight to Athens. Arrival in Athens and transfer to your selected hotel. Balance of day at leisure.
Day 7: Thursday: Athens
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and you will be led to a guided sightseeing tourto the House of Parliament, the Unknown Soldier’s Tomb, the Hadrian's Arch, the Olympian Zeus Temple, the Olympic stadium, the Royal Palace, the Academy, the University and the National Library. Balance of the day at leisure.
Day 8: Friday: Athens / Mykonos
Early in the morning you will be transferred to Piraeus port and then you will depart for the 3-night cruise. First stop Mykonos! An island known for its fantastic sandy beaches, its vivid nigthlife, Little Venice and famous windmills.
Day 9: Saturday: Kusadasi (turkey) / Patmos
Next port of call is the Turkish port of Kusadasi with the option to visit Ephesus, one of the most complete ancient cities ever excavated. Then, on to the island of Patmos, where participating in the optional tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the Monastery & St. John's Grotto where he lived and wrote the book of Revelation.
Day 10: Sunday: Heraklion (crete) / Santorini
Arrival in Heraklion. Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the optional tour to the Knossos Palace, the center of the Minoan Civilization. Departure to Crete and arrival in Santorini island in the afternoon, the island which is said to be the lost continent of the Atlantis.
Day 11: Monday: Piraeus / Airport
The cruise ship will arrive at Piraeus port early in the morning. Disembarkation after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight back.
